How to use OTP ( One Time Password ) of facebook in India

Hello friends...!!!

Today I am here to tell you about a service of facebook i.e. OPT means One time password. It is useful when you are going to login your facebook account on someone else computer and there may be key logger, virus, phishing page and malware in that system which can record your password. So how you can protect your password from those vulnerabilities to hack your password , I am going to show you.

What is OTP ?
A one-time password is a password that is valid for only one login session or transaction. OTPs avoid a number of shortcomings that are associated with traditional passwords. For facebook it is valid for 20 minuts only.





Who can use this service ?

Those facebook user who registered a mobile with their facebook account can use this service freely. If you are not register any mobile with your facebook account follow these steps to register your mobile no. with your facebook account.Login your facebook account.
  • Go to settings of your facebook account.
  • Go to mobile settings
  • Add your mobile no and confirm by entering a confirmation code which you received on your mobile after adding your mobile no.
  • Done.

How to get One time password ?
  • Go to "Create new message"
  • Type "OTP" (without quotes)
  • Send to the 9232232665 or to no. which is written in front of your service provider.
  • After 1-2 minute you got the "one time password"
  • Now you can use it (with in 20 minutes)
Note: If you are using 9232232665 no. and you have message card in your mobile than one message deducted from the SMS balance.
